About Lisa and the A.R.I.S.E. Program

A.R.I.S.E. got its start in 2018 after several inquiries about rodeo queen coaching, the encouragement of my now husband, Anthony, and a lot of prayers.

Prior to becoming Miss Rodeo Texas and Miss Rodeo America, I taught high school agriculture. I wholeheartedly believed I would be back in the classroom the year following my reign, but the good Lord had other plans. Although I'm not teaching in the classroom, I’m able to pursue my passion for education and provide the resources and coaching services I wished were available during my own rodeo queen contest preparations.

I strive to provide young women with not only the resources and ability to be successful, but also to empower them to achieve any goal they have set for themselves. Being a rodeo queen is an honor and a privilege and also a job that provides numerous opportunities for personal growth and career advancement. The skills and self-development gained are invaluable.

I hoped to make a difference while having the honor of wearing the crowns I did — including Miss Rodeo Texas and Miss Rodeo America — but I could have never imagined the impact those titles have had on me personally and the trajectory of my life.

The goal for A.R.I.S.E. is to help young women experience the same on their own unique journey by finding success and maximizing every opportunity available in the rodeo queen world and beyond.
