Morgan “Ray” Ruysenaars, Miss Rodeo USA 2025 third runner-up and speech winner

Working with Lisa Lucia and her A.R.I.S.E. program was truly life-changing. From the very beginning of my journey to Miss Rodeo USA, she always there with a kind word, a guiding hand, and a heart full of encouragement. No question was ever too small, and no challenge was ever too big with Lisa by my side. Her belief in me never wavered, and because of her, I stepped onto that stage feeling prepared, confident, and ready to give it my all.

Lisa’s impact goes far beyond the competition. She gave me advice that I will carry with me for the rest of my life, both in and out of the pageant world. She helped me grow not just as a competitor, but as a person, strengthening my faith and bringing me closer to God. Lisa is more than a coach—she is a mentor, a cheerleader, and a true blessing. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support make her a rare gem, a beautiful soul inside and out. I will forever be grateful for her guidance and the love she pours into every person she helps.

Bio: As a native Texan and a proud member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Morgan spent her childhood on her grandparent's cattle ranch, where she learned how to ride horses and embrace the rodeo lifestyle. Morgan's love for rodeo led her to pursue a career in agriculture. She attended Sam Houston State University where she joined their Rodeo Team, was treasurer and then captain of the Equestrian Team, and co-founded the SHSU Mounted Shooting Team. Her dedication paid off, as she graduated with honors earning her degree in Equine Science. When Morgan's not at the barn, she is likely leading worship, singing, and playing guitar at church. During the summer months, she volunteers as a wrangler at Charis Hills Christian Camp teaching children with disabilities how to ride horses and foster a deeper connection with God. With unwavering focus, Morgan leads the charge towards her future hoping to one day become a barrel racing champion or an Opry performer. Morgan would like to give thanks and gratitude to God, her friends, and her family for their unwavering support. Her leadership encourages individuals to pursue their most ambitious goals, dismissing the what-ifs and instead embracing the possibility of success.
