Vie Vie Blanchard, Texas High School Rodeo Association Queen 2021

Vie Vie Blanchard, Texas High School Rodeo Association Queen 2021

As a first-generation cowgirl, I needed significant help preparing for local and state-level rodeo queen pageants. After years of learning and growing through the ARISE program, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to enhance and grow their skills in public speaking, delivering a speech, interview topics, rodeo knowledge and preparation, modeling, and horsemanship skills. Mrs. Lucia’s professional experience and unique perspective was crucial asset to my rodeo queen successes. She is a remarkable horsewoman with invaluable knowledge and I am so grateful to have had her along my rodeo queen journey.

Some of my title wins while working with Mrs. Lucia include Miss Texas Junior High Rodeo Princess, Miss Texas High School Rodeo Queen, and placing 2nd attendant overall at the National High School Rodeo Queen Pageant where I won the coveted interview category and placed in top 3 in every other category. I largely owe these successes to Mrs. Lucia and her dedication to helping students achieve their goals.

Mrs. Lucia’s mentoring methods allowed me to excel. What I loved most were the monthly newsletters with rodeo and current event news, practice questions, and so much more which allowed me to spend more time studying the information rather than looking it up. I also valued our weekly FaceTime calls which helped me digest more information and become more confident with repeated practice.

Outside of rodeo queening, I am able to apply the skills ARISE taught me into my daily life. From college, scholarship, and job interviews to my overall comfort in public speaking, I have seen the incredible influence Mrs. Lucia has had on my life. This program is truly worth the investment and I know that ARISE will make an impact on your rodeo queen career and beyond.
